Privacy Policy

A. Information Candidates Provide

When you use HR Cuisine as a Candidate, we collect information such as:

• your first and last name;
• your mobile number;
• your ZIP code;
• your work history and experience;
• restaurant, cuisine, and position experience you provide;
• skills, education, and food-safety information you provide;
• your work preferences and availability;
• your application answers;
• messages and interview information; and
• your Talent Pool participation and preferences.

B. Application Drafts

A Job application can begin as a temporary, anonymous draft before you have an account. While you are completing an application, your answers may be stored on our servers as part of that draft. A draft currently expires approximately 2 hours after it is started. Your browser holds only an opaque, signed reference to the draft -- not your identity itself -- until the application is completed.

C. Candidate Account / Application Snapshot

After verification and submission, a Candidate account, profile, and application record are created. The application information you submitted is preserved as a snapshot for the Restaurant that receives it. If you later update your profile, that update does not retroactively change the snapshot already shared for an earlier application.

D. Restaurant / Manager Information

When you use HR Cuisine as a Restaurant Owner or Manager, we collect information such as:

• your restaurant's identity and business information;
• your restaurant location(s) and address information;
• cuisine and location data;
• Owner identity, contact, and authentication data;
• Manager identity, mobile number, and permissions;
• Job posting data;
• applicant-management activity;
• messages and interviews; and
• purchase and payment transaction metadata.

E. OTP / Authentication

HR Cuisine uses one-time verification codes rather than conventional account passwords. Verification data may include the destination (mobile number or email), an expiration time, attempt information, and a protected, hashed version of the verification code -- never the code itself in readable form.

F. Payments

Payments are designed to be processed through Stripe. HR Cuisine stores provider references (such as a customer reference, a payment-method reference, and a transaction reference) and limited display metadata (such as card brand and last 4 digits) where applicable. HR Cuisine does not store raw card numbers or CVC in its own application database.

G. How Information Is Used

We use the information described above to:

• operate the HR Cuisine hiring platform;
• authenticate users;
• process applications;
• enable Restaurant review of applicants;
• support messaging and interview coordination;
• support Talent Pool and Scout functionality;
• support Job posting and payment functionality;
• support security, audit, and operational integrity; and
• provide support to users.

H. Sharing with Restaurants

Direct application: when you submit a Candidate application, your submitted information is shared with the Restaurant receiving that application.

Talent Pool / Scout: before a Scout Interview is confirmed, what a Restaurant can see about you is intentionally limited -- generally your first name only, not your last name, mobile number, email, exact ZIP code, address, or photo. Your full identity is revealed to the Restaurant through the confirmed-interview process, as currently implemented. A later cancellation of that Interview does not erase information already revealed through an established relationship.

I. Service Providers / Infrastructure

HR Cuisine currently uses:

• Stripe for payment processing; and
• Supabase for database and infrastructure hosting.

J. Cookies / Similar Technologies

HR Cuisine currently uses:

• authentication/session cookies;
• signed, opaque references for in-progress application flows, as described in Section B; and
• a cookie (hrc_job_order_seed) that keeps public Job search results in a stable order during one browsing session.

We have not identified any analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies in current use. This may change in the future.

K. Data Retention

HR Cuisine does not currently apply one universal, fixed retention period to all account, application, and business records. Records may be retained as needed to operate the platform, maintain transaction records, support security and audit integrity, handle disputes, meet legal obligations, and for other legitimate operational purposes. Temporary Application Drafts, described in Section B, currently expire approximately 2 hours after they are started.

L. User Controls

Today, you can:

• leave or opt out of the Talent Pool at any time;
• cancel a Candidate application, where the product currently permits it; and
• remove a Saved Job.

HR Cuisine does not currently offer self-service account deletion. For deletion or other privacy requests, contact info@hrcuisine.com. We do not promise automatic deletion, and some records may need to be retained as described in Section K.

M. Minors / Age

HR Cuisine's Candidate services are intended for users age 16 and older. Users under 16 should not create a Candidate account or submit Candidate applications. Candidates ages 16–17 are minors and may be subject to additional requirements, described in our Terms of Service. HR Cuisine does not need or intend to collect a full date of birth merely to determine whether a Candidate meets this minimum platform age.

N. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information on HR Cuisine, such as never storing account passwords (we use one-time verification codes instead) and never processing raw card data on our own servers. No method of storing or transmitting information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

O. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
